Your username (or display name, if the product uses that label) is how you may appear on profile and leaderboard surfaces.
Choosing and changing a username
If the product lets you set or edit a username, follow the fields and validation messages shown on screen. Availability, formatting rules, and how often you can change a username are defined by the product UI.
This article does not invent character limits, uniqueness rules, or change cool-downs beyond what you see when editing.

Username behavior is supported at a high level. Fine-grained policy (reserved names, appeal of taken names, and related rules) is not fully established for Help Center publication. Use in-product guidance when you edit your username.
